Throughout the year, various performance opportunities will be available for students to showcase their talent to friends and family.
In addition to a mid-year and end of year student concert, students wishing to increase their performance experience are given access to competitions, examinations and eisteddfods.
We believe that performing is an integral part of the musical journey. We're proud to offer two exciting recital opportunities each year to celebrate the growth and achievements of our talented students.
Mid-Year Recital:
Our mid-year recital is a chance for students to shine on stage and share their musical accomplishments with family, friends and fellow musicians. Our experienced instructors work closely with students to ensure they feel prepared and confident for this exciting performance.
End-of-Year Concert:
As the year draws to a close, our end-of-year concert is a culmination of dedication and hard work. It's a grand celebration that marks the progress students have made over the course of the year. From beginners to advanced players, everyone has a place on our stage to share their musical journey. At Tempo Allegro School of Music, we believe that performing is a wonderful way to showcase your musical progress, build confidence, and share your passion for music with others. While we encourage all students to participate in our recitals, we understand that performing may not be everyone's cup of tea. Rest assured, our approach to performances is flexible and student-centred.
Encouraged, But Not Mandatory:
Participating in our recitals is completely optional. We understand that performing in front of an audience might be daunting for some and that's perfectly okay. Our priority is to create a positive and supportive environment where you feel comfortable exploring your musical journey. If you're excited about performing, we're here to support you every step of the way and if performing isn't your preference, that's absolutely fine as well.
Teachers as Guides:
Our dedicated instructors will be attuned to your interests and comfort level when it comes to performing. They'll take the time to discuss performance opportunities with you and gauge your readiness and interest. If you decide that you're ready to take the stage, our teachers will work closely with you to prepare you for the experience. From selecting appropriate pieces to providing guidance on stage presence, they'll ensure you feel confident and well-prepared.
