Congratulations to Aidan Kirby, 14yrs and Julian Menrath, 14yrs for the fantastic results they achieved in the Rockschool exams this year! Aidan achieved a Distinction for his Grade 4 electric guitar exam and Julian achieved a Distinction for his Grade 5 electric guitar exam. These are the highest grades achievable in the Rockschool exams, so a great effort by Aidan and Julian.
Rockschool exams are a great way to progress on your instrument through an examination process relevant to the styles of music you love. A great learning process for students interested in contemporary music styles such as pop and rock where alongside learning great songs students are also introduced to and taught scales, techniques, aural skills, reading skills, improvisational skills and overall musicianship relevant to contemporary genres of music.
